Courses are available across the UK and Ireland and include:
Expert witness
Expert Witness reporting services are contracted by Councils, Insurance Companies, Legal Professionals and Engineers in relation to potential or confirmed claims. Our independent Expert Witness Service provides reports for the courts following an investigative site visit.
The report details the item and surface area involved in the accident and all relevant aspects of the relevant European Standards which are investigated in relation to the item location or surface in question. Court appearances are available as part of our Expert Witness provision.
HIC Tests
The quality of a fall surface can change over a period of time due to weather conditions, extensive use and general wear and tear. Regularly carrying out an HIC (Head Injury Criteria) measurement of the playground surface is therefore important for maintaining compliance within the European standard EN1177.
With the wireless HIC meter we can carry this out quickly and easily. Our wireless HIC meter is simple, easy to use, is linked via Bluetooth to a smartphone, with a report provided within minutes of each test. The data can be sent from the smartphone to your computer at a later date through USB or WIFI. In addition to carrying out measurements for playground equipment, the wireless HIC meter is also suitable for carrying out measurements for sports surfaces and more recently Rugby pitches.
